Lessons learned... Starting in Rock-Wool is MUCH easier.. Possible root damage ...more to be seen.

I will probably pay for putting the plants too close together (especially the broccoli because they are large), but I wanted to see the effect in hydro and will try to keep the plants off of each other some how. I was surprised by how little nutrient and ph down is needed per gallon. Does make it seem like this all will be a bit cheaper than i thought. In hindsight, i should have run a tds meter on the water before starting to ensure that I was not using too much nutrient. will do so in the future.

4 of 5 cucumber plants now have a tiny root coming out of the bottom of the rock-wool. I am debating on whether to transplant them tonight.
